Job summary

Nov Inc in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a General Operative to perform fiberglass rework, operate tools, and maintain safety standards. You will inspect, rework, and label products while adhering to SOPs and quality targets.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in hot, dusty, and noisy environments. Successful candidates will have a technical diploma or equivalent, basic manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum PMR Qualification or Technical/Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
• Ability to carry physical work and perform repetitive tasks in hot, dusty, wet, and noisy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform fitting rework activities including grinding, blasting, coating, and repair of fiberglass products.
• Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and PPE requirements with zero tolerance for unsafe behavior.
• Grind sharp edges on products without causing dimensional or surface damage.
• Inspect products for defects and perform necessary rework.
• Operate curing ovens, spray guns, grinders, and hand tools safely.
• Ensure rework processes meet quality standards and time targets.
• Perform accurate product labeling and stenciling as per SOP.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices in work areas.
• Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
