Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to operate the productive equipment as defined by the Production Leader. You will follow work instructions, perform tool cleaning and stripping, and carry out tool pre/post treatments such as micro blasting, glass beading, brushing and polishing, as well as sand blasting of seals and fixtures.

You will report irregularities to the Production Leader, assist in implementing actions to prevent non-conformities, ensure the production area is cleaned at

Qualifications

• MIN SPM /Secondary level and must able to understand simple English.
• Ability to follow work instructions and basic English.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate productive equipment as defined by the Production Leader.
• Follow work instructions and perform tool cleaning.
• Do tool stripping and pre/post treatments (micro blasting, glass beading, brushing, polishing).
• Sand blast seals and fixtures as required.
• Provide feedback on training preferences or requirements when operations can be improved.
• Inform Production Leader of any irregularities in equipment.
• Assist in actions to prevent non-conformities related to product, process and quality system.
• Ensure production area is cleaned at end of shift and handover is accurate.
• Contribute to risk-based thinking and team delivery of quality targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow the work instructions by Production Leader
• Tool Cleaning
• Tool stripping
• Tool pre/post treatment (Micro blasting, Glass Beading, Brushing, Polishing)
• Sand Blasting of seal, fixtures & etc.
• feedback on training preferences / requirements, especially if instructed operations cannot be
• Inform any irregularity on the productive equipment to the Production Leader
• Assist in implementation of actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to the product, process and quality system
• Assure the cleaning of entire production area at the end of each shift and accurate handover/ information to next shift
• RISK based thinking and measures to overcome
• To work as a team to achieve delivery and quality target
