Job summary

ESTEK Automation Sdn Bhd, an engineering company delivering vision solutions for LED and semiconductor clients, is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full-set accounts and timely close cycles. Based in Penang, you will prepare journals, reconciliations, and management reports while supporting cash flow forecasting and regulatory compliance.

You will drive automation initiatives using Power BI and ERP systems, contribute to group reporting and consolidation, and interact with auditors

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in full set accounts, month-end closing, audit, and compliance.
• Knowledge of SST, e-Invoicing, and accounting systems.
• Familiarity with Power BI, automation tools, or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Exposure to Group reporting, consolidation, or IPO projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff claims, and payment processing.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and assist in cash flow forecasting.
• Support Group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and consolidation activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, taxation, SST, e-Invoicing, and statutory requirements.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Participate in IPO readiness, audit, due diligence, and corporate governance initiatives.
• Drive finance automation, process improvement, and system enhancement projects.
• Develop and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and workflow improvements using Excel, Power BI, AI tools, or other technologies.
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure documentation is complete and readily retrievable.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
