Job summary

Right Power Technology Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a diligent finance professional to manage full set of accounts, month-end close, and cash flow monitoring. You will prepare financial statements, support audit, and ensure accurate reporting for internal stakeholders.

Candidate should have at least 2 years' experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with accounting software. This on-site role is based at Taman Kinrara, Puchong with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Noted language proficiency: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience in accounting.
• Experience in full set of accounts preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts, including GL, AR, AP, Petty Cash and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Perform daily accounting operations.
• Monitor and manage monthly cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts and intercompany transactions.
• Issue and verify invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Maintain accurate aging reports and ensure proper credit control.
• Process supplier invoices, payments and staff claims.
• Verify vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, cash flow reports and management reports.
• Liaise with external auditor and assist in year-end audit.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing to support all accounting entries.
• Perform any ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.
