Job summary

AI ELITE TECHNOLOGY in Malaysia seeks an experienced accounting professional to maintain client financial records and prepare statements. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

You will provide financial guidance to small businesses, liaise with regulators, and help improve accounting processes while mentoring junior staff. Strong communication and software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, ideally in a small practice or boutique firm.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• A valid accounting certification or license (e.g., CPA, ACCA) would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and tax returns in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Providing financial advice and guidance to small business clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial operations.
• Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial management.
• Continually seeking opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of the finance function.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Mentoring and supervising junior members of the accounting team, as required.
