Job summary

Medtronic seeks an experienced Financial Controller for the SEA region to lead financial reporting and internal controls across Operator, Steward, Catalyst, and Strategist duties. You will oversee audits, tax compliance, and policy governance while partnering with Treasury, Tax, and Credit teams.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in multinational finance roles, 5+ years in SEA, and SAP FI expertise to drive continuous improvement and strong financial stewardship across in-scope entities.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting or finance or relevant discipline.
• Accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
• 12+ years experience with MNCs, 5+ years in SEA region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial closing and reporting under US GAAP and local standards.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and attest controls.
• Ensure timely statutory and regulatory reporting and audits.
• Provide governance of finance policy and internal controls across SEA.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, Credit and other finance functions.
