STMicroelectronics Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an accounting professional to support Record to Closing services in our Global Business Services center. You will assist payroll accounting tasks and GL month-end closing processes.

The ideal candidate has a recognized Degree in Accounting with 3+ years’ experience, preferably from a Shared Service Center, and familiarity with MS Office and SAP. We offer a diverse, inclusive workplace with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in accounting with relevant experience.
• 3+ years in related field; shared services preferred.
• CPA/ACCA preferred; ERP exposure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support Record to Closing services in global business services (GBS).

• Analyze business results and participate in transfer roadmaps.
• Contribute to work process design, alignment and policy deployment.

YOUR ROLE

• To support Record to Closing services in global business services (GBS)
• To support payroll accounting task
• To support GL month end closing
• To support analysis of business result
• To participate in expansion of GL & Reporting transfer roadmap
• To participate in work process design, alignment & policy deployment

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• A recognized Degree in Accounting, with relevant working experience
• More than 3 years of experience working in related field
• Preferably with experience from Shared Service Center
• Preferably with professional qualification (for e.g. CPA/ACCA)
• Computer literate with MS Office tools, preferably with exposure to SAP
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
