Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; professional qualification adds advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, proactive and able to work in a team or independently.
• Full-time position at Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee KL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of accounting for the Fertilizers business and reporting.
• Assist in divisional reporting and statutory reporting.
• Prepare and submit Monthly Management Reports, Quarterly Reports, and Country-By-Country reporting.
• Process accounts payable activities, verify and post transactions promptly.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and creditor reconciliations; follow up discrepancies.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors; provide records and working papers.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as required by supervisor.
