Job summary

PKSJ Fertilizers Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting professional to manage daily to quarterly cash flows, financial reporting, and banking relations for the group. The role includes preparing management accounts, ensuring control procedures, and coordinating with auditors and tax agents.

The candidate should have a Diploma/degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 5 years of experience, including auditing exposure and familiarity with MYOB and Auto Accounting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably with 2–3 years in auditing and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with MYOB and Auto Accounting is preferable.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cash flows for the group of companies.
• Prepare weekly reports for post financial flow and trade finance.
• Manage and prepare application of trade facilities.
• Record trade finance and interest for the group of companies (Bank Acceptance, Bank Guarantee, Revolving Contract).
• Handle banking matters including current account opening and maintenance, credit card applications, and related transactions.
• Prepare cash sales and commission reports.
• Monitor repayments of monthly BA and RC (Sales & Purchase).
• Prepare bank reconciliation and ensure bank statements are accurate for yearly audit.
• Maintain banking data and trade information for the group of companies.
• Liaise with bankers on banking and finance matters.
• Ensure timely closure of month-end accounts and prepare profit reports.
• Review accounting controls for accuracy and compliance with directives and legal requirements.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and schedules.
