Job summary

YonMing Group, established leader in heavy commercial vehicle parts and services, seeks a highly organised Junior Finance Project Manager to coordinate multiple finance projects across the group. You will track timelines, compile reports, and work with finance leaders, branch teams and external advisers to drive transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, finance, accounting, auditing, consulting or a similar role. Fresh graduates with strong relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to prepare trackers, organise data and generate basic reports.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and time management skills.
• Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to coordinate with stakeholders at different organisational levels.
• Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and a proactive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Maintain and update a central project tracker covering project owners, timelines, deadlines, dependencies and progress status.
• Progress Monitoring: Conduct weekly project meetings, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on outstanding action items to ensure timely completion.
• Management Reporting: Prepare concise weekly project status reports using a Red-Amber-Green (RAG) status system for the Finance Director.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with branch teams, departments and external advisers to collect information, monitor deliverables and ensure deadlines are met.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential delays, project risks and outstanding issues, and elevate them to the relevant stakeholders promptly.
• Process and System Implementation: Support the rollout of new finance systems and processes across branches, including training schedules, implementation checklists and progress monitoring.
• Data and Document Review: Perform basic checks on project deliverables to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Documentation Management: Maintain organised project records, meeting minutes, document versions, decisions and supporting materials.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with financial analysis, process improvement initiatives and other projects assigned by management.
