Job summary

Autoliv seeks a Finance Transformation Manager, Product Costing Management, to drive end-to-end profitability. The role requires leading cost visibility from design through production, shaping solutions, and coordinating with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Finance to secure optimal margins.

You will manage program strategy, costs, and cross-functional governance while delivering impactful finance transformations across global operations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Management or similar.
• Fluent in English.
• Deep knowledge in Product Costing and related topics (ABC Costing, Conversion Costing).
• Experience leading transformational change programs in global environments.
• Understanding of accounting, planning, forecasting and management reporting in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Onestream, AFIS, ERP, ICAN and PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of capabilities and processes for reliable gross margin visibility from engineering to production.
• Bridge finance with RD&E, Sales, Operations, SCM and Finance to enable decision making.
• Oversee program scope, cost, progress and outcomes; align with leadership.
• Engage cross-functional leadership with clear communications to drive commitments.
• Drive deployment and adoption of solutions for actual, forecast and quotation processes.

Job description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Finance Transformation Manager, Product Costing Management.

In this role you will lead the creation of capabilities and processes required to meet the objective: “Reliable gross margin visibility of our products from engineering phase up to production, to understand where we need actions and tasks, to secure optimal profitability.”

This position is within the office of the CFO.

This includes hands on analysis to understand current constraints, lead the shaping of solution options, driving informed and timely decision making with executive leadership, and leading the successful deployment and adoption of solutions for actual, forecast and quotation processes. The role will be the key bridge between functions and stakeholders involved in the end-to-end product lifecycle including RD&E, Sales, Operations, SCM and Finance.

• Shape the overall approach, methodologies, plans and resourcing required for the Program.
• Manage and prioritize program scope and focus areas, including driving related decisions and commitments from Leadership.
• Lead the shaping of overall program strategy, including solution and implementation options.
• Manage program progress, outcomes and cost.
• Engage cross-functional leadership with clear and timely communications to enable decisions and commitments.
• Oversee the development and outcomes of designs, including stakeholder engagement and approvals.
• Manage program related costs including internal, external (consulting), ensuring compliance with approved budgets, while providing timely updates and change requests.
• Engage stakeholders in the end-to-end process with communications to build awareness and support.
• Represent the program in established Autoliv governance mechanisms and events

If you have/are:

• University degree in Finance, Business Management or similar
• Professional fluent in English
• Deep knowledge in Product Costing and related topics like ABC Costing, Conversion Costing Methods etc.
• Experience leading transformational change programs in global and complex operating environments
• Understanding of accounting, planning & forecasting and management reporting in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of solutions available to enable target Product Profitability capabilities, including but not limited to Onestream, AFIS, ERP, ICAN and PowerBI.
