Job summary
Autoliv Hirotako Safety Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable engineer to lead automotive development projects from inception to delivery. You will supervise progress, ensuring alignment with schedule and budget while meeting customer specs.
You will collaborate with multiple departments, apply APQP and IATF 16949 standards, and engage in cross-functional problem solving. Training is provided as you work in a dynamic safety systems environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics) is required or preferred.
- GD&T and CAD design skills in CATIA/SolidWorks are advantageous.
- Experience in Automotive or component development is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor progress of the assigned project to meet schedule and budget.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and product specifications.
- Coordinate activities with Technical and other departments.
- Adhere to APQP requirements and IATF 16949 standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and solve problems.
- Report to the Technical Manager and participate in ongoing learning.
