Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA or equivalent) advantageous.
  • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or R2R beneficial.
  • Experience with financial close activities and GL accounting preferred.
  • Hands-on SAP FI/CO experience preferred.
  • Exposure to multinational/shared services environments advantageous.
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities beneficial.
  • Prior audit experience would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial close activities and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including banks, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting records and financial data.
  • Support statutory reporting requirements, including financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests and coordinate with auditors as required.
  • Support tax compliance activities including GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax matters.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including submissions to central banks and authorities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting, audit, compliance, and operations.
  • Maintain documentation and filing of accounting and statutory records.
  • Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as directed by management.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/CA or equivalent (advantageous)

Job Responsibilities

This is global role in supporting Razer Gold entities from Singapore and Australia.

Support financial close activities and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.

Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records and financial data.

Support statutory reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.

Assist with internal and external audit requests and coordinate with auditors as required.

Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities, including submissions to central banks and other regulatory authorities where applicable.

Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.

Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management.

Pre-Requisites

Education & Professional Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA, or equivalent) would be advantageous.

Experience Prior experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions would be advantageous.

Exposure to financial close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting is preferred.

Hands-on experience using SAP FI/CO or other SAP finance modules is highly preferred.

Exposure to multinational corporations, shared services environments, or regional finance operations would be an advantage.

Experience supporting multiple legal entities would be an advantage.

Prior audit experience would be an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.

Familiarity with financial close processes and account reconciliations.

Knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements would be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience using SAP for finance and accounting processes is preferred.
