We are seeking a talented Finance Specialist to join FLASH FULFILLMENT (M) SDN. BHD. based in Puncak Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting accuracy of our organisation. As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial reporting to support strategic business decisions. This position is integral to our finance function and directly contributes to the company's operational efficiency and financial health.
Handle various finance-related approval processes, including:
Contract approvals
Payment approvals
OA, Feishu, email, and other internal workflows
Manage and reconcile AR, AP, PPE, Inventory, RPT, and GL accounts in accordance with company and Group requirements.
Maintain financial records, schedules, and accounting ledgers.
Handle monthly and annual closing for the Malaysia entity.
Prepare financial statements and perform financial analysis and review.
Participate in finance system automation, optimization, and system testing/UAT.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliation schedules and perform historical financial data clean-up.
Handle AR settlement, including:
Ageing analysis
Collection follow-up
Account clearing/write-off when required
Manage and monitor AP-related deposits and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Handle Malaysian tax calculations and statutory tax filings.
Identify potential tax risks during approval and accounting processes and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
Liaise with:
External auditors
Tax consultants
LHDN
Coordinate and support annual statutory audits and financial/tax inspections.
Manage local bank accounts and banking relationships when required.
Support Group-level bank account structure and account management optimization.
Handle cash flow forecasting, fund planning, fund transfers, and treasury operations when required.
Prepare cash flow statements, treasury reports, and monthly fund operation reports.
Support Group-level fund collection and payment activities when required.
Support Group tax planning and local tax compliance.
Provide support to Finance, Treasury, and Settlement functions when required.
Perform other finance-related duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Financial Management, or related fields.
3+ years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience, or 2+ years of audit experience in an accounting/audit firm.
Good knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and Malaysian tax regulations.
Good Chinese communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Professional Accounting or Tax certification is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems is preferred.
