Job summary

BDO Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to support the finance team with daily accounting operations and reporting. You will gain hands‑on experience in accounts payable/receivable, compliance, and statutory reporting, building a solid foundation in finance.

This role requires a Diploma in Accounting or Finance with up to 1 year of relevant experience, strong English communication, meticulousness, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
• Preferably 1 year of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Input and distribute daily billing and collections reports, ensuring accurate updates
• Process and track staff claims and vendor/supplier invoices
• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and assist with trade receivables, payables, and payments
• Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required
• Support management with ad-hoc financial tasks, projects, and reporting as needed
