Job summary

DayOne is a global leader in data center infrastructure, with a growing footprint across Asia. The Assistant Manager, Finance Process Excellence will drive continuous improvement, governance, and automation across the Finance function to simplify processes and scale operations as the business grows, including Malaysia and regional entities.

You will partner with finance leaders and cross‑functional teams to develop policies, implement KPIs, and deliver training while leading transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting, project management, process improvement, or change management certification is advantageous.
• Approximately 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in finance operations, finance transformation, process excellence, business process improvement, shared services, consulting, or a related environment.
• Practical understanding of finance processes, internal controls, governance, and the interaction between Finance and other business functions.
• Experience supporting process redesign, policy or SOP development, automation, system enhancement, or transformation projects.
• Experience working with ERP, workflow, reporting, or analytics tools.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Workday is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance function, without limiting the scope to specific finance process streams.
• Establish and maintain a consistent process governance framework across Finance.
• Develop and maintain finance policies, standard operating procedures, process maps, work instructions, RACI matrices, and control documentation.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for workflow improvement, system enhancement, automation, analytics, and digital enablement.
• Develop relevant process KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting routines.
• Embed proportionate preventive and detective controls within finance processes and system workflows.
• Develop and deliver process training, onboarding programs, user guidance, and refresher sessions.
• Lead process excellence initiatives from problem definition through design, implementation, benefit tracking, and handover to process owners.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and external auditors on process-related findings and risks.
