Job summary

SEER S&R in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a capable Accountant to oversee the full Set of Accounts including AP, AR and GL, ensuring timely closings and accurate reporting. The role also covers admin operations, payroll support, contracts, and compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 5–8 years’ experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role, and strong proficiency in ERP systems (JDE) and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, administration or related field is required.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience with 2+ years in supervisory/managerial role.
• Proficient in ERP systems (JDE) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and ensure timely closings.
• Prepare management reports, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts for management.
• Coordinate audits, SST, tax filings and statutory compliance; manage bank reconciliations and petty cash.
• Supervise HR payroll support, attendance, leave, claims, and onboarding processes.
