Job summary

Atome Financial in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Operations Associate to support daily finance operations, reconciliations, AR invoicing and AP processing. You will assist month-end close, gateway reconciliations, and ensure timely postings while coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve finance issues.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 1 year in finance operations or AP, with a preference for candidates from retail or tech backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of finance operations/reconciliation/AP experience in a shared services/GBS, retail or tech/e-commerce setting.
• Hands-on exposure to AP processes including invoice verification and payment runs.
• Experience with payment gateway reconciliations, AR processing or month-end closing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Malaysia finance operations and reconciliation activities, including payments, refunds, cash flow planning and postings.
• Assist month-end closing, gateway reconciliations, balance validation and follow-up on reconciling items.
• Handle AR invoicing and AP payment processing adjustments or tracker maintenance.
• Support e-invoicing and stamp duty processes and related issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve finance operational issues and maintain trackers/SOPs.
