Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or a professional qualification, 3–5 years in accounting/finance, and strong MFRS knowledge with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Proven experience in leading month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS and internal control frameworks.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Experience in implementing accounting systems is an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate GL activity.
• Coordinate balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Manage master data governance for accuracy across financial systems.
• Lead monthly reporting packs, consolidation, and group reporting.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements and annual reports per MFRS.
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audit process.
• Drive ERP rollout testing, data migration, and post-go-live support.
• Lead Finance Transformation initiatives to optimise processes and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting issues.
