Vuly Play is expanding its Malaysia hub in Kuala Lumpur to support growth across Australia, North America, the UK, Europe and beyond.

We seek a Finance Officer to manage day-to-day accounting, including AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end reporting, within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in accounts payable/receivable or a general finance officer role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax legislation; proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with Finance ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier invoices with proper authorization before payment.
• Prepare and execute payment runs in line with supplier terms.
• Allocate customer payments, cash receipts, and credit notes accurately.
• Liaise with supplier AR teams and internal approvers to resolve queries.
• Support sales with customer payment, refunds, and account status inquiries.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Post cash receipts, payments, and card statements to the general ledger.
• Maintain cash flow visibility with timely transaction postings.
• Assist month-end procedures, journal adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Identify and correct routine transaction coding errors; flag variances to management.
