Job summary

Apex Logistics International in Penang, Bayan Lepas invites an experienced accounting professional to oversee full sets of accounts, manage month-end and year-end closing, and deliver timely financial reporting. You will support budgeting, cash flow management, audits, process improvements, and provide guidance to the team while contributing to the efficiency of the finance function.

The role requires a minimum degree in accounting or related field and at least 5 years of experience; strong

Qualifications

Minimum degree in accounting, finance, logistics or related field.
At least 5 years of accounting experience.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely, accurate month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
Manage accounting processes: AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, inter-company, etc.
Review and reconcile customers, vendors, inter-companies and bank accounts.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor cash flow.
Produce financial statements, P&L and balance sheet schedules; assist budgeting.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements; support audits.
