Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia seeks a senior finance professional to oversee day-to-day operations and guide a junior team. You will manage month-end closing, review entries and reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial reporting for management.

Successful candidate will have 5–8 years in finance, strong SAP knowledge, and the ability to provide insights for commercial decisions while maintaining robust internal controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• SAP knowledge with strong finance module understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and guide junior team members.
• Manage and coordinate the month-end closing process for timely financial reporting.
• Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and schedules for data accuracy and compliance.
• Review and validate journal entries and financial adjustments prepared by the team.
• Review financial reports to ensure data integrity before submission to management.
• Support commercial finance operations with stakeholder collaboration and insights.
• Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to policies and governance.
• Utilise SAP to review transactions, monitor data, and support reporting.
