Job summary

Accentrex Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a qualified accountant to manage the full set of accounts and month-end closing, providing accurate financial reporting and analysis.

The role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and good command of English and Mandarin. ACCA/CPA qualifications are advantageous, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in handling full set accounts and month-end closing.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Able to work independently with good attention to detail.
• Good command of English and Mandarin, written and spoken.
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial closing, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Review and improve accounting procedures and finance processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger, chart of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, account analysis and budget variance analysis.
• Work closely with management and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Ensure accounting procedures and company policies are properly followed.
• Support finance improvement projects and provide guidance to junior accounting staff when required.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents when necessary.
