Job summary

Responsibilities

A multinational precision metal stamping company is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the daily financial operations of our manufacturing plant in Thailand. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and management skills. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, providing financial insights and support to aid in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee the daily financial operations of the factory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Accounting Systems: Develop and maintain the company's accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate and fair financial reporting.

Collaboration: Work closely with business departments to provide financial analysis and foresight, supporting management in strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Planning: Develop and monitor financial budgets and plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals.

Cost Accounting: Manage and analyse factory costs, overseeing company taxation and general ledger work.

External Coordination: Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.

Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial data analysis, reporting to the Group Finance Head on a dotted line basis.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost/general ledger/complete accounting management within a manufacturing enterprise. Proficiency in financial analysis, budget preparation, and financial reporting processes is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficient in common office software and financial systems. Familiarity with Kingdee financial software is a plus. Holding a CPD certificate is preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage and lead teams effectively.

Analytical Skills: Clear understanding of financial data, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and processes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Language Skills : Proficient in English and Mandarin; Thai language proficiency is an advantage.

Laws and Regulations Skills : Knowledge of Thai laws and regulations; experience with Thailand's Board of Investment (BOI) is a plus.

Relocation : Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Thailand for the duration of employment. Relocation support may be provided, subject to company policy.
