Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned accounting/finance professional to lead general ledger activities, reconcile balances, and support month-end close in a manufacturing context.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. ERP experience with SAP or Oracle is highly desirable, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Working Hour: 8:30am~5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.
• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation

• Proficiency in Thai and English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
• Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience

• Strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
