• F&B industry exposure is a plus.

Our Client is in the F&B business and has an outlet in the affluent Damansara Heights area. They now seek to hire a mature and experienced professional as Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly closing, review, prepare monthly financial summary, commentaries, andvariance analysis as well as other relevant reports within stipulated deadlines.
• Manage a team of finance executives who perform daily financial transactions byconducting and reviewing their task and responsibilities to ensure the company'sfinancial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems is properly addressed.
• Focus on all daily and month-end accounting procedures for the account results,including P&L activity (management fees, fee splits, gross-up entries, reclasses,etc.), balance sheet activity (deferrals, accruals); accounts receivable/ payables,inter-company transactions, and cash management in compliance with theaccounting standards.

Financial Control & Business Management

• Review P&L and balance sheet, identifying material variances vs forecast andarticulating the results to Management.
• Establish and maintain accuracy of client revenue and billing plans, ensure monthend inputs are submitted and allocations are recorded.
• Track billing throughout the month, with an emphasis during month-end billing.Resolve billing issues based on client needs.
• Ongoing AR and AP monitoring. Keep teams informed of aged debt and potentialcollectability issues. Work closely with respective teams on all AR, AP and Billingmatters.
• Ensure proper Cashflow Management by overseeing debt management andcollection, payments, payroll, incentives, and capital expenditure.
• Constantly improving efficiencies and continually reviews business processes andidentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency or cost reduction.
• Review all CAPEX requests in line with Group policy.
• Ensuring that overall financial policies, processes and controls are in place andadhered to.
• Ad hoc request for analysis and reporting for management as required from timeto time.

Statutory Reporting

• Finalize Annual financial statements, manage external/group audits ensuringregulatory requirements are promptly met.
• Liaise with tax agents, oversee the preparation and submission of annualcorporate income tax.
• Ensure timely submission of Sales & Service Tax (SST) and Withholding Tax(WHT) payments to the authorities on timely manner.
• Liaise with corporate secretary on all statutory documents and filing matters.
