Job summary

CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, ensuring accurate reporting and timely management information.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership of a finance team, and coordination with auditors and tax agents to meet Bursa Malaysia and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including team leadership
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, accounts payable, taxation and statutory requirements
• Experience in financial closing, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination and internal controls
• Experience in a public-listed company is an advantage
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing for accurate and timely reporting
• Review financial statements and management reports and provide recommendations
• Oversee accounts payable operations and supplier reconciliations
• Ensure proper accounting records and journal entries across entities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, Bursa Malaysia, taxation
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and departments on audits and submissions
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor performance and variances
• Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting and processes
• Develop and guide finance team for efficient operations

• Oversee accounts payable operations, including invoice verification, payment processing, supplier reconciliations and payment schedules
• Ensure proper accounting records, journal entries, account reconciliations and transactions between related companies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company laws, Bursa Malaysia requirements, taxation and other relevant regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and relevant departments on audits, tax matters and statutory submissions
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, monitor financial performance and highlight significant variances
• Strengthen financial controls and improve financial reporting, accounts payable processes and finance systems
• Lead, guide and develop the finance team to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvemen
