Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a Finance Manager based at KL or Kemayan, Pahang to oversee the timely preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and year-end audits. The role also ensures compliance with local tax and statutory reporting requirements.

You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans, while delivering high-level analysis and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualification preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive corporate finance and accounting experience with managerial leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Sage UBS accounting software a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking under deadlines.
• Full professional proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and year-end audit.
• Lead annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Deliver high-level financial analysis and data-driven recommendations.
• Establish internal controls, accounting systems, and reporting formats.
• Ensure submission of corporate and indirect tax returns to IRB/LHDN.
• Identify financial/operational risks and develop contingency plans.
• Lead and develop the finance team, guiding the Assistant Financial Manager.
