Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Malaysia, Johor, Iskandar Puteri, seeks a senior finance leader to drive performance and develop the team. You will lead a finance department, oversee day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and prepare financial statements for clients.

The role requires 8+ years in finance, with at least 3 years in an accounting firm, strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance, and experience with Xero or similar software. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required; ACCA/CPA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of finance and accounting experience, including 3 years in an accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Xero and other accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the finance team to drive performance and development.
• Oversee daily accounting and financial operations for clients.
• Review and improve SOPs, workflows, and internal controls.
• Conduct monthly team training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Monitor team performance and prepare annual appraisals.
• Ensure timely month-end close and accurate financial reports.
• Prepare group consolidation and statutory financial statements.
• Review GST returns and corporate tax filings for clients.
• Engage with clients to explain financial statements and answer queries.
