Job summary

Yee Lee Group in Ipoh seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to lead daily finance and accounting operations across the business. You will drive timely financial reporting, month-end close, management reporting and strengthen internal controls, including trade-claims processing.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and deliver strategic financial insights to support management decisions, working closely with branches, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ICAEW or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• 6-10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, trading, retail, logistics or related industries.
• Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing, management reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the business.
• Ensure timely financial reporting, month-end closing and management reporting.
• Oversee trade claims, reconciliations, accounting transactions and financial controls.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
• Work closely with internal departments, branches, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial processes, internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop the Finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
