Job summary

Mikro MSC Berhad, a Malaysian electrical and electronics group, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to own the numbers, lead month-end closes, and drive financial reporting for a subsidiary within the group. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee full-set accounting, treasury, tax, audit and performance analysis.

You will partner with Operations and Sales to identify cost improvements and ensure timely statutory compliance, while strengthening

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing is required.
Experience in financial reporting, audit and taxation.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance functions of an assigned subsidiary.
Manage full-set accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial records.
Lead the preparation of group consolidation and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and Group policies.
Lead monthly closing activities and analyze variances against budget and forecast.
Monitor cash flow and working capital; support effective liquidity management.
Coordinate audits, tax compliance and liaise with external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Operations, Sales and other departments to improve financial performance.
