Job summary

HMI Medical in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a Group Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting, reporting and finance operations for HQ entities in Singapore and Malaysia. You will ensure timely month-end closing, accurate intercompany recharges, and robust control with group policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accountancy/finance or equivalent.
• CA Singapore, ACCA or CPA qualifications are preferred.
• At least 10 years of finance and accounting experience, including full-set of accounts for multiple entities.
• Experience in HQ/group finance environments with Singapore/Malaysia entities and statutory audits is preferred.
• Experience with ERP implementations, process improvements or finance transformation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage HQ accounting for Singapore and Malaysia entities.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing with reconciliations.
• Review intercompany transactions, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules for group reporting and audit.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost center allocations for HQ entities.
• Supervise and coach two Finance Executives and collaborate with BU finance teams.
