Job summary

Starlite Printers (Malaysia) seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR and inventory accounting. You will ensure timely monthly statements and management reports for the Holding Company.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, costing and cash flow management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, costing and cash flow management.
• Familiar with audit, SST, e-Invoice and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems; SAP experience is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Chinese for business communication is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports for submission to the Holding Company.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning, and provide financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Monitor product costing, gross profit margins and key financial performance indicators.
• Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with Company policies, accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SST, e-Invoice and other applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Review financial performance, identify variances and provide practical recommendations to Management.
• Support Management on financial planning, cost control and other finance-related matters.
• Other duties assigned by Management.

Job description

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Familiar with audit, SST, e-Invoice and statutory compliance.

Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems; SAP experience is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Chinese for business communication is an added advantage.
