Job summary

Private Advertiser, a dynamic mid-size property company overseeing our own portfolio of commercial assets, is seeking an experienced, qualified Accountant registered with MIA to lead our finance operations and handle corporate compliance and secretarial duties.

Key responsibilities include overseeing full-set accounting, managing monthly financial reporting for all properties, liaising with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, the Income Tax Act, and the Malaysian Companies Act.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia for liaising with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounting for the company’s properties.
• Manage monthly financial reporting for all properties.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, clients and authorities.
• Handle income tax returns, compliance with SSM filings and board resolutions.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

We are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant, registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) to lead our finance operations and to handle corporate compliance and secretarial duties etc.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee full-set accounting
• Manage monthly financial reporting for all company-owned properties
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, clients, and relevant statutory authorities
• Manage income tax returns, secretarial submissions, SSM statutory filings, board resolutions, and overall compliance with the Malaysian Companies Act
• Carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, the Income Tax Act, and the Malaysian Companies Act
• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia as this roles will required to liaise with our diverse client base and partners.
