Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a finance-focused professional to support the Lead, Finance in daily accounting and financial tasks in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The role covers fund monitoring, bill certification, credit control, tax computation, stock management, fixed asset register maintenance, and preparation of financial reports.

You will handle daily postings, liaise with internal and external parties, and take on other assignments as required by the Head of Finance.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma / Partial Professional Qualification in Accounting / Finance.
• Minimum 1 year(s) relevant experience or non-graduates with 5 years relevant experience with good track record.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Lead, Finance.
• Monitor fund position, placement of deposits and transfer of funds.
• Check and certify bills / invoices.
• Credit control function.
• Compute year end income tax liability.
• Monitor stock movement and product costings.
• Monthly stock count.
• Daily postings in accounting systems.
• Fixed asset register maintenance.
• Prepare and manage tax computation for the Company.
• Liaise with internal parties and auditors (Internal & External) and external parties i.e. Bankers, Customs.
• Prepare financial reports for management and/or external parties.
