WIKICAREER SDN. BHD. is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts, compliance, and payroll for contract staff deployed across multiple client organisations.

Finance Manager will take charge of the day-to-day finance operations of the business — including accounts, compliance, and the payroll cycle for contract staff deployed across multiple client organisations. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who is equally comfortable managing numbers and working closely with operations teams.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements in accordance with MFRS and the Companies Act 2016
Ensure timely statutory filings with SSM, LHDN, RMCD, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS
Oversee corporate tax computations, deferred tax, and SST compliance; liaise with tax agents on submissions
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records across the recruitment and contract staffing business units
Manage the end-to-end payroll process for contract staff employed by the company and deployed to various client organisations, ensuring accuracy in headcount, hours, rates, and statutory deductions
Review and verify client invoices for contract staffing services, ensuring billing rates and commercial terms are correctly applied per each client's agreement
Reconcile payroll costs against client billing on a monthly basis; monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue collections
Prepare monthly payroll cost and billing summaries for management review
Coordinate and support the annual external audit process; prepare audit schedules, lead schedules, and supporting documentation
Support the annual budget preparation and monthly variance analysis process
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 to 8 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of MFRS, Companies Act 2016, and Malaysian employment regulations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Employment Act 1955)
Hands-on and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and compliance deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in accounting software (SQL Accounting, Autocount, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with operations, recruitment, and admin teams
Experience managing payroll for a sizeable headcount, particularly in a contract staffing or employer-of-record environment, is a strong advantage
MIA membership or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA Australia, CIMA) is preferred
Exposure to recruitment, professional services, or multi-entity environments is preferred
