RCE Capital Berhad in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Manager, Finance (Group Reporting) to lead the financial and management reporting team, ensuring timely deliverables and regulatory compliance across all statutory filings.

The role oversees quarterly/annual reporting, budget preparation, ESG reporting collaboration, and implementation of new accounting standards. You will coach staff and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to drive accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance with professional qualification.
• 5 years in financial services; 2–3 years in an established accounting firm preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, group consolidation, tax and ESG framework.
• Experience leading a team with stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead the financial and management reporting team; ensure timely deliverables and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and allocate tasks for process improvement in reporting.
• Oversee quarterly/annual reporting, including audited financial statements and regulator submissions.
• Coordinate, capture and report financial information to support decision making.
• Drive budget preparation and analysis of financial performance.
• Collaborate on ESG framework development and reporting.
• Support new accounting standards/processes or tax-related requirements.
• Develop SOPs to identify risk and non-compliance; coach team members.
• Provide operational support and handle ad-hoc projects; manage secretarial matters.
