Job summary

FWD Malaysia Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to support financial reporting for group submissions monthly, quarterly and annually.

You will assist in management and consolidation accounts, regulatory forms, and balance sheet reconciliations, while ensuring CoA mapping and postings comply with MFRS/IFRS. The role involves tax computations, intercompany allocations, and collaboration with local RMCD/IRB stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in accounting or recognised professional qualification.
• 3-5 years' working experience in takaful/insurance industry or external audit in financial institutions.
• Knowledge in MFRS/IFRS; IFRS 17 & 9 preferable.
• Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Independent, proactive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in group reporting submissions monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Assist in management accounts, consolidation accounts, regulatory forms monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual.
• Balance sheets reconciliation for local and group ledgers.
• Develop SOPs and knowledge base; review posting rules and CoA mapping.
• Support tax computations and related matters; interact with RMCD/IRB as needed.
