Job summary

STARLAI SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to support our finance operations and contribute to growth. You will handle AP, invoicing, general payments, and assist in fixed assets, inventory, and corporate secretarial tasks.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accounting or finance, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in SAP B1, AutoCount, and MS Office. Bahasa Malaysia and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in SAP B1 accounting software, AutoCount and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier and service invoices accurately and timely manner.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents.
• Maintain organized records of all supplier transactions.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly (cash flow, bank balance, petty cash).
• Record and maintain the fixed assets register upon procurement; capitalization and tagging.
