Konica Minolta Malaysia is seeking a Finance Costing Analyst to maintain and enhance costing, pricing, and budgeting modules. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity for inventory and standard costs, collaborating with stakeholders to drive accurate cost insights.
The candidate will prepare regular cost reports, analyze variances, and support budgeting and forecasting across departments while upholding internal controls and accounting standards.

Maintain and update the production costing, pricing and budgeting modules accurately and on a timely basis. Ensure material costs are aligned with standardcosts by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage accuracy and timely calculation of product costs, taking into account material, labor, overheads, and manufacturing processes.
Analyze and compare estimated costs with actual costs from production and purchasing departments to determine variances and provide insights to
Assist to provide cost analysis and insights to support pricing, budgeting, and profitability decisions.
Ensure integrity of inventory and costing-related data for financial reporting purposes. Making sure that all the data related to inventory (i.e. quantities,values, movements) and standard costing (costs of production) is accurate, complete, and reliable.

Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to costing.
Support compilation of variance analysis and explain cost performance versus budget and forecast.- Ensure timely and accurate submission of internal and external financial reports, aligning with corporate and statutory standards.
Support other ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Support compilation of annual budgeting process and monthly forecast across departments.
Support internal planning and forecasting processes by providing accurate and up-to-date costing information.
Support preparation of analyze and provide data/report to facilitate and support operational decision-making and strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate policies within the costing functions.
Support audit processes and ensure implementation of corrective actions on audit findings.- Continuously assess and improve internal processes for better control and efficiency.
Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a Professional qualification
Experience : Preferably, minimum 1 years progressive experience in finance and accounting role within a multi-national company. Working experience with audit firms is added value.
