Job summary

Esri Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to manage daily finance and accounting activities, including accounts payable, month-end closing, banking, reconciliations, tax compliance, and CAPEX. The role supports financial reporting and liaises with auditors and tax agents.

We value a degree in Accountancy, at least 3 years’ experience, strong Excel, and good English. You’ll work independently in a fast-paced IT service environment and may use Workday; familiarity with the software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; pivot tables.
• Experience with Workday is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• In charge of accounts payable, month-end closing, bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
• Handle SST submissions and other tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents; CAPEX management.

About the role

The Finance Executive will manage daily finance and accounting activities, including accounts payable, month-end closing, banking, reconciliations, tax compliance, and CAPEX. The role will also support financial reporting and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

The key responsibilities include:

• In charge of Accounts Payables, including monthly closing, ageing report and reconciliations.
• Handle banking matters.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare monthly journal entry and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare SST fillings and handle other tax-related matters.
• Manage CAPEX.
• Any other ad hoc duties.

About you - - Applicants must be local Malaysian to be considered for this role.

The ideal candidate is confident working with numbers, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Accountancy with 3 years working experience preferably in audit or IT service industry.

Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications such as pivot table.

Able to work independently.
