Job summary

Esri Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to manage daily finance and accounting activities, including accounts payable, month-end closing, banking, reconciliations, tax compliance, and CAPEX. The role supports financial reporting and liaises with auditors and tax agents.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in English. Workday experience is a plus in a fast-paced IT services environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with relevant accounting knowledge and numerical aptitude.
• Proficient in Excel with advanced skills including pivot tables.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using Workday is an added advantage.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts payable, month-end closing, banking, reconciliations.
• Prepare SST filings and handle tax-related matters.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Manage CAPEX and support financial reporting.

About the Role

The Finance Executive will manage daily finance and accounting activities, including accounts payable, month-end closing, banking, reconciliations, tax compliance, and CAPEX. The role will also support financial reporting and liaise with auditors and tax agents.

The key responsibilities include:

• In charge of Accounts Payables, including monthly closing, ageing report and reconciliations.
• Handle banking matters.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Prepare monthly journal entry and balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare SST fillings and handle other tax-related matters.
• Manage CAPEX.

About You

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident working with numbers, enjoys taking ownership of their work, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. If you have strong Excel skills, good English communication, and a positive attitude, we would love to hear from you!

You will be successful if you have:

• Degree in Accountancy with minimum 3 years working experience preferably in audit or IT service industry.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications such as pivot table.
• Able to work independently.
• Experience using Workday system will be an added advantage
• Have good command in English.
