Job summary

Fatfish Group Limited in Malaysia seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to manage full sets of accounts and support day-to-day accounting operations. The successful candidate will prepare monthly management accounts, ensure timely compliance, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the Company Secretary on audit and statutory matters, while assisting with month-end and year-end closings.

Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in using the SQL Accounting System.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting activities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and Company Secretary on accounting, audit, tax, and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure accounting records and processes comply with relevant financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance-related duties and projects as required.
