Job summary

Neoscience is seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst in Malaysia to prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses that inform management decisions. You will analyze trends, KPIs, and P&L data, support budgeting and forecasting, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses for management meetings and decision-making.

Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and business performance analyses to provide insights for management meetings and decision-making

Analyze business trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement

Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and strategic planning activities by providing relevant analysis and business intelligence

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver meaningful reporting and analytical solutions

Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

Facilitate cross-functional project meetings, track deliverables, and monitor action plans to ensure timely execution

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, automation, and data accuracy

Support digitalization and business transformation projects, including requirement gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder coordination, and solution implementation

Monitor and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) performance to identify business trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Undertake ad hoc business analyses, special assignments, and strategic projects as required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Data Analyst, or related
• Proven experience in management reporting, dashboard development, KPI analysis, and business performance reporting
• Knowledge of data analyst, reporting, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools
• Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities independently
• Experience monitoring and analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) performance
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
