Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision making. You will collect large datasets, build robust data systems, and create dashboards to reveal insights for marketing, sales, and finance teams.

You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations and collaborate across functions to identify growth opportunities. The role requires strong Excel and SQL skills, Power BI experience, and Python scripting, with 5–8 years in analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate business insights.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, interpreting the results, and providing insights to drive informed business decisions. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, and finance, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities

Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data analytics tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field

5-8 years of experience in Data Analytics or a similar role

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate business insights

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and working with relational databases

Experience with Power BI and familiarity with Python for data analysis and visualization

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain insights to stakeholders

Self-motivated team player who can manage priorities, adapt to change, and maintain data confidentiality
