The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the business in implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective and practical manner. This role focuses on identifying business needs, analyzing requirements, documenting processes, and communicating clearly with stakeholders, facilitators, and business partners. The role also involves developing technical solutions to business problems, supporting sales initiatives, reviewing test cases, managing process change requests, and assisting with project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment activities.
Key responsibilities
- Collate, analyze, and report sales data from various sources to evaluate business performance, customer trends, and market developments
- Conduct data analysis to forecast sales trends and provide useful business insights
- Work with internal and external partners to gather campaign requirements, validate data, and analyze campaign opportunities
- Develop campaigns that align with marketing strategies and ensure timely execution
- Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams for campaign setup, implementation, and management
- Use campaign management skills and IT tools to support business initiatives.
- Analyze product pricing, costing, and margin positions to support better pricing strategies
- Propose pricing improvements based on business case scenarios and margin analysis
- Support post-campaign margin analysis and performance review
- Conduct business process risk assessments and support risk management analysis
- Share accurate and actionable information with sales and management teams on a regular basis
- Communicate key findings to management to support strategic business decisions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support external audit requirements when needed.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field, or proven working experience as an analyst or in a related role
- Familiarity with business intelligence software is an added advantage.
