Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. You will develop financial models, partner with stakeholders, and deliver insights to drive business decisions in a leading health & beauty retail environment.

Key responsibilities include monthly/quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Power Query)
• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred
• Big Four audit or advisory experience is an added advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

About The Role

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and profitability analysis

• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions

• Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls

About You
