Job summary

MAJIME SOLUTION is seeking a capable finance professional to manage full financial and accounting operations in Malaysia. You will handle AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, daily transactions, and cash flow monitoring while ensuring statutory compliance and robust controls.

The role also involves preparing monthly reports, supporting budgets and forecasts, and developing SOPs for finance processes. A diploma or degree in accounting with 2–3 years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting practices, taxation, and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent.
• Understanding of financial reporting, cash flow management, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Monitor outstanding payments, customer collections, and supplier accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor daily cash flow and company bank balances.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Assist in establishing the company's accounting system and financial procedures.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance and accounting activities.
