Job summary

KC Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Finance and Operations Manager to join Straits Investment Bank’s in-house support partner. You will manage daily accounting, prepare management accounts, coordinate audits and statutory filings, and oversee HR administration for the group.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), minimum five years’ experience, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit practices.
• Familiarity with Malaysian statutory and payroll requirements; APAC compliance exposure is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Integrity, discretion, and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including payables, receivables, cash flow monitoring, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow summaries
• Monitor financial performance and highlight key variances or issues
• Liaise directly with external auditors during annual audit exercises.
• Coordinate with tax agents and external accountants on statutory filings (tax, SST).
• Assist with preparation and submission of statutory documentation.
• Ensure proper filing, organisation, and retention of corporate and financial records.
• Liaise with the company secretary on annual filings, board resolutions, statutory compliance matters, corporate documentation updates; and maintenance of statutory records.
• Coordinate renewal of licences, registrations and corporate documents
• Support management on governance and company administration matters
• Assist with compliance tracking and internal documentation requirements
• Supervise the HR support staff

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
