Job summary

MKH Berhad is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage and supervise the full spectrum of accounting and internal control functions, ensuring timely monthly FS and compliance with policies. You will review weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports, monitor cash flows, and liaise with external auditors to ensure audit readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, professional membership (MIA/ACCA/CPA), and at least five years of experience with two in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalents.
• Member of MIA/ACCA/CPA or other relevant professional accreditation body.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field with a minimum of 2 years in managerial level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the full spectrum of accounting and internal control functions.
• Review weekly/bi-weekly/monthly reporting and bank balances, and review payments processes.
• Monitor operation cash flows and assess financial indicators.
• Ensure existing financial controls are followed and deviations are authorized by Management.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and drive efficiency.
• Stay updated on new accounting standards, tax laws, and GST compliance.
• Review yearly budget and business plans.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure FS compliance with policies.
